Many TV shows this year are carrying on in the long tradition of having special episodes dedicated to the holiday season. Here is a rundown of when to watch first-run and repeat holiday TV episodes of your favorite series this year. All times are Eastern; check back regularly for updates and additions to the list:

The Big Bang Theory: “The Santa Simulation” — Nov. 28 at 8pm on CBS. Sheldon revisits some Christmas memories during a game of Dungeons and Dragons.
Doc McStuffins: “A Very McStuffins Christmas” — Dec. 1 at 6pm on Disney Junior. When Tobias the elf (guest star Tony Hale) accidentally breaks a piece of Donny’s Christmas present, Doc and the toys travel to Santa’s (guest star Jeffrey Tambor) workshop in the North Pole to find a replacement part.
Sofia the First: “Holiday in Enchancia” — Dec. 1 at 6:30pm on Disney Junior. When a snowstorm prevents King Roland from returning home in time for the holidays, Sofia leads her family on a brave expedition to find him. Princess Aurora from Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty” makes a special appearance to help Sofia and her animal friends reunite the royal family.
Liv and Maddie: “Fa-la-la-A-Rooney” — Dec. 1 at 8pm on Disney Channel. Liv is asked to sing a duet at the town’s holiday spectacular but her partner, a nine-year-old aspiring singer, is not quite what she seems. Meanwhile, Pete and Maddie are tasked with decorating the town Christmas tree, and Parker sabotages Joey’s get-rich-quick Santa booth.
Austin & Ally: “Mix-Ups & Mistletoe” — Dec. 1 at 8:30pm on Disney Channel. Trish is organizing a Kids Club holiday party at which Austin and Ally will perform their original holiday song and distribute Austin Moon dolls, but a mix-up at the toy factory leads to a scramble. Meanwhile, Trish puts Dez and his arch nemesis, Chuck, through a competition to determine who will be a better Santa for the party.
Dads: “The Glitch That Stole Christmas” — Dec. 3 at 8pm on FOX. When Eli (Seth Green) and Warner (Giovanni Ribisi) fire one of their employees right before the holiday season, the ex-game designer seeks his revenge by including an offensive word in their family-friendly Christmas game. Meanwhile, Edna (Tonita Castro) encourages David (Peter Reigert) to get a job as a mall Santa, so he can earn enough money to buy Eli a gift. This episode will encore Dec. 24 at 8pm.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: “Christmas” — Dec. 3 at 8:30pm on FOX. Jake is assigned to protect Holt when death threats are sent his way. Amidst the chaos, Amy attempts to coordinate a Christmas photo for the squad. This episode will encore Dec. 24 at 8:30pm.
The Mindy Project: “Christmas Party Sex Trap” — Dec. 3 at 9:30pm on FOX. Mindy (Mindy Kaling) throws a Christmas party in an attempt to spend time with Cliff (guest star Glenn Howerton), a lawyer in the building on whom she has a crush, but everything goes completely sideways.
Glee: “Previously Unaired Christmas” (pictured at top) — Dec. 5 at 9pm on FOX. Sue Sylvester introduces the episode as a Christmas special that FOX did not allow to air last year, in which the members of New Directions audition for roles in McKinley’s living Nativity Scene. Meanwhile, in New York, Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt and Santana (Naya Rivera) work as Santa’s elves at a mall.
A.N.T. Farm: “silANT night” — Dec. 6 at 8pm on Disney Channel. Grundy tries to surprise the ANTs by dressing up as Santa Claus, but things take a surprising turn when the backup computer locks the kids in the school after its analytics deem Santa to be bad. It’s up to the ANTs to work together and convince the computer of the true meaning of the holidays so that it will unlock the building and they can return home for the holidays.
Dog With a Blog: “‘Twas the Fight Before Christmas” — Dec. 6 at 8:30pm on Disney Channel. Avery decides to plan the perfect Christmas in anticipation of a visit from her Aunt Sigourney, her mom’s ultra-competitive sister. Cynthia Watros guest stars.
NCIS: Los Angeles: “Free Ride” — Dec. 6 at 9pm on CBS. Callen, Sam, Kensi and Deeks spend Christmas aboard an aircraft carrier investigating the death of a fellow NCIS special agent. Meanwhile, Nell and Eric make the most of the holidays back at headquarters and Hetty takes a trip.
Mike & Molly: “First Christmas” — Dec. 7 at 8pm on CBS. Mike has no idea what to buy Molly for their first Christmas together.
Mike & Molly: “Karaoke Christmas” — Dec. 7 at 8:30pm on CBS. Even while portraying Santa, Mike cannot contain his frustrations over Molly’s Christmas spending and warns unsuspecting children about the dangers of maxing out credit cards to buy toys. Later, while Molly’s family enjoys holiday festivities at home – complete with Christmas carols on Victoria’s new karaoke machine – Mike and Molly get roped into spending Christmas Eve at church with Mike’s mother and boss.
TV Land’s Merrython — Dec. 8 from 8pm-6am; Dec. 24 from 8pm-6am; Dec. 25 from 8am-midnight on TV Land. Christmas episodes of classic TV shows, including The Golden Girls, Everybody Loves Raymond, Roseanne and more.
Dance Moms: “‘Twas the Fight Before Christmas” — Dec. 10 at 9pm on Lifetime. In the first Dance Moms Christmas special, Abby is full of holiday surprises as the girls dance to Christmas songs and Coco Jones performs. There’s even a special appearance from the dance dads.
Trophy Wife: “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas … Or ‘Twas It?” — Dec. 10 at 9:31pm on ABC. Pete, Kate, Diane and Jackie wake up Christmas morning hung-over and the house in complete disaster. They try to piece together the events of last night’s Christmas Eve festivities while also trying to save Christmas for the kids.
Amish Mafia: “A Very Amish Christmas” — Dec. 10 at 10pm on Discovery Channel. It’s Christmas in Lancaster and time for everyone to call a truce and set aside their differences for the holiday. Merlin introduces us to a new friend as he takes it upon himself to educate everyone about the true meaning of Christmas- by any means necessary; Levi uses the holiday to make some money off of the English; Wayne continues to protect his community while Esther reunites with John and Freeman.
The Middle: “The Christmas Tree” — Dec. 11 at 8pm on ABC. When Axl comes home from college for Christmas vacation but would rather spend time with his friends over family, he and Frankie must come up with a time management agreement that will satisfy both of them; Sue’s severe allergic reaction to the Christmas tree threatens to ruin her holiday; and after it’s discovered that Brick lied to the school about his Christmas wrapping paper sales, he finds himself running a mini Ponzi scheme in an attempt to pay back the debt.
Melissa & Joey: “A New Kind of Christmas” — Dec. 11 at 8pm on ABC Family. Jaime Pressly drops by as Mel’s sister Meredith, who comes home from prison on furlough to celebrate Christmas with the kids and Mel, and seems unruffled by Joe’s obvious animosity towards her.
Arrow: “Three Ghosts” — Dec. 11 at 8pm on The CW. After a fight with Cyrus Gold AKA the Acolyte (guest star Graham Shiels), Oliver (Stephen Amell) is drugged and left for dead. Determined to cure him, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) makes a risky decision. The cure causes Oliver to hallucinate, and what he sees forces him to confront his past. Meanwhile, Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) continues to help Felicity, and their connection grows stronger. The Arrow asks Lance (Paul Blackthorne) to look into Gold, but when the stakeout on Gold goes bad, someone is killed. Roy (Colton Haynes) is captured and tortured by Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro).
Back in the Game: “I’ll Slide Home for Christmas” — Dec. 11 at 8:30pm on ABC. When Terry tries to plan a special family Christmas, The Cannon opts to spend the holiday with his old war buddies, causing a major divide in the household. Meanwhile, Danny rallies the Angles to help him give his mom the best Christmas gift ever – The Angles first win. Elliot Gould guest stars.
Babby Daddy: “Emma’s First Christmas” — Dec. 11 at 8:30pm on ABC Family. Ben and Danny end up in elf suits as they try and find the perfect toy for Emma, while Riley and Tucker volunteer to help Bonnie pull off the perfect Christmas.
Duck Dynasty: “I’m Dreaming of a Redneck Christmas” — Dec. 11 at 9pm on A&E. In this encore episode, it’s Willie’s turn to play Santa Claus at the local church this year but Uncle Si crashes the party and the event goes south in a hurry. Meanwhile, the family gathers at Phil and Miss Kay’s house to celebrate the holidays in true redneck fashion.
Modern Family: “The Old Man & the Tree” — Dec. 11 at 9pm on ABC. Jay takes Manny out to cut down their own Christmas tree, and Gloria is on edge with mom in town, but changes her tune when she sees her bonding with Claire. Elsewhere, Mitchell is forced to do last minute shopping when they didn’t get Lily the right gift, and Cameron takes Lily to a charity event where they experience the true meaning of Christmas.
Super Fun Night: “Merry Super Fun Christmas” — Dec. 11 at 9:31pm on ABC. Richard reluctantly drives Kimmie, Marika and Helen-Alice to a remote cut-your-own Christmas tree lot upstate, but the trip over the river and through the woods goes terribly wrong when Marika gets them lost and they run out of gas… on Christmas Eve. They think they’re saved when they find a beautiful cabin miraculously stocked with a holiday feast… until the cranky old man who lives there (guest star Paul Dooley) shows up. Meanwhile, Kendall goes it alone with her frosty parents (guest stars Alan Ruck and Mo Gaffney).
Duck Dynasty: “O Little Town of West Monroe” — Dec. 11 at 10pm on A&E. In this new episode, the Robertsons perform a live nativity for their Church for Christmas, so the wives organize rehearsals to ensure that they pull off a great event. However, rehearsals get off to a bumpy start as the guys can’t stop sharing their opinions. In between rehearsals, Willie and Jase struggle to get their wives the perfect Christmas gifts and they unenthusiastically take Jep’s advice.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: “The Lost Reindeer” — Dec. 11 at 10pm on CBS. When a man is found murdered at an elaborate holiday party complete with real snow and live reindeer, the CSI team is brought in to investigate.
Glee: “Extraordinary Merry Christmas” — Dec. 12 & 26 at 8pm on FOX. When New Directions is asked to perform at two different events – on the same day, at the same time – they have a tough decision to make in an encore of a holiday-themed episode. Will they choose correctly and spread Christmas cheer, or will their ambition get the best of them?
The Millers: “Carol’s Parents Are Coming to Town” — Dec. 12 at 8:31pm on CBS. When Carol’s overbearing mother and father announce they’re coming to visit for Christmas, Carol recruits Nate and Tom to cover up their failed relationships and present a happy facade. However, Nate begins to believe the lie, and considers getting back together with his ex, Janice.
The Michael J. Fox Show: “Christmas” — Dec. 12 at 9:30pm on NBC. Mike and Annie’s awesome gift exchange hits a snag when Mike learns he has to anchor the news on Christmas Eve. Ian tries to keep the magic of Christmas alive for Graham. After attending a friend’s Hanukkah celebration, Eve becomes intrigued by the ideals of Judaism. With special guest star Sting.
Two and a Half Men: “On Vodka, On Soda, On Blender, On Mixer!” — Dec. 12 at 9:31pm on CBS. Walden helps Jenny get a second date with a one-night stand and Alan’s transgender girlfriend’s ex-wife hits on him. Meanwhile, in the spirit of the holidays, Alan receives a Japanese delicacy from Jake for Christmas, and Walden’s Malibu house is alive with questionable Christmas carol lyrics.
NTSF:SD:SUV:: — “Wreck the Malls” — Dec. 12 at 12:15am (late-night Dec. 12/early morning Dec. 13) on Adult Swim. It’s an NTSF:SD:SUV:: Christmas which means murderous Santas, the gift of corpses, and verbal slights to all other religions. This year, Trent’s children learn the true meaning of Christmas when a terrorist Mall Santa takes over the mall, trapping them inside with only their wits as weapons, while locking out the rest of their team, desperate to get in and continue shopping for last minute gifts.
Last Man Standing: “Elfie” — Dec. 13 at 8pm on ABC. in the spirit of Christmas, the sometimes self-absorbed Mandy plays Santa by anonymously arranging for the family housekeeper Blanca’s serviceman brother-in-law (played by a real-life sailor, Petty Officer First Class Raymond McKnight) to fly home from Afghanistan for the holidays. As part of ABC’s “Home for the Holidays,” McKnight’s family received the surprise of a lifetime when he shocked his wife and children on the set of Last Man Standing after being overseas on duty for the past nine months. The emotional homecoming was filmed and will air as a scene in the episode.
The Neighbors: “A Christmas Story” — Dec. 13 at 8:31pm on ABC. When Debbie oversteps and accidentally ruins Larry’s surprise Christmas gift for Dick, Larry responds the only way he knows how: going way over the top for gifts to Debbie’s kids. Meanwhile, thinking gifts are the emblem of how you truly feel about someone, Reggie and Amber both struggle with getting each other the perfect gift.
Shark Tank — Dec. 13 at 9pm on ABC. A man from Lubbock, TX believes his colorful, magnetic light strands hold the solution to one of the holiday’s biggest headaches; a man from San Diego, CA pitches his Christmaskah item for interfaith families that bridges the gap between “Ho, ho, ho,” and “Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel;” and a business duo from San Diego presents a fashion show highlighting their fun, witty take on the traditional Christmas sweater of the past.
Raising Hope: “The Chance Who Stole Christmas” — Dec. 13 at 9pm on FOX. The town blames Burt (Garret Dillahunt) for ruining Christmas, when, as interim mayor, he’s forced to cancel the Natesville Christmas Festival. This episode will encore Dec. 25 at 9:30pm.
Grimm: “Cold Blooded/Twelve Days of Krampus” — Dec. 13 at 9pm on NBC. “Cold Blooded” — As a deadly crime spree begins to surface, a century-old urban legend takes shape in Portland’s sewers and becomes Nick’s (David Giuntoli) latest case. In Europe, Adalind (Claire Coffee) meets Prince Viktor (guest star Alexis Denisof), who’s come to bring those responsible for his cousin Eric’s demise to justice. Meanwhile, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) responds to the recent attempt on his life. “Twelve Days of Krampus” — After a string of delinquent teens go missing, an old Wesen tale of an evil Santa who brings more than just a lump of coal may be the prime suspect. The investigation intensifies as Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) take things a little too far. Meanwhile, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) enlists Juliet (Bitsie Tulloch) to surprise Rosalee (Bree Turner) for their first Christmas together with unintended results. Elsewhere, Captain Renard’s (Sasha Roiz) tour of Europe brings him closer to tracking down Adalind (Claire Coffee).
The Simpsons: “White Christmas Blues” — Dec. 15 at 8pm on FOX. Springfield is inundated with holiday revelers after the nuclear power plant springs a radiation leak, causing snow to fall all over town. When the tourists drive up Christmas shopping prices, Marge (Julie Kavner) opens up the Simpsons’ house to boarders. This episode will encore Dec. 22 at 8:30pm.
Bob’s Burgers: “Christmas in the Car” — Dec. 15 at 8:30pm on FOX. After purchasing a last-minute tree, the Belcher family spends Christmas Eve trying to outrun a truck shaped like a giant candy cane. Back at home, Bob’s (H. Jon Benjamin) friend, Teddy (Larry Murphy), accidentally gets stuck in the kids’ Santa trap.
Family Guy: “Christmas Guy” — Dec. 15 at 9pm on FOX. Peter (Seth MacFarlane) infuses Lois’s dad with the holiday spirit, while Stewie (Seth MacFarlane) learns the meaning of confession.
American Dad: “Minstrel Krampus” – Dec. 15 at 9:30pm on FOX. It’s holiday time in Langley Falls, and Steve starts acting like a spoiled brat, so Stan takes him to see his incarcerated Grandpa Jack, who tells the story of how, as a boy, he captured the legendary Minstrel Krampus (guest voice Danny Glover), a Christmas demon who used to punish naughty children on Christmas.
Rick and Morty: “Anatomy Park” — Dec. 16 at 10:30pm on Adult Swim. On a special Christmas episode, Rick and Morty try to save the life of a homeless man. Meanwhile, Jerry’s parents visit and the family bonds. Dana Carvey and John Oliver guest star.
Robot Chicken: “Born Again Virgin Christmas Special” — Dec. 16 at 12am (late-night Dec. 16/early morning Dec. 17) on Adult Swim. Robot Chicken takes down Christmas once again. The origins of the Heat Miser and Cold Miser are revealed, while Ebenezer Scrooge learns the true TRUE meaning of Christmas.
Monsters Inside Me: “My Christmas From Hell” — Dec. 18 at 9pm on Animal Planet. Three holiday celebrations and three stealthy infections lead to trouble. It’s Christmas, and a young globe-trotting couple returns home to Boulder, Colorado, for some holiday cheer only to discover sly stowaways that bite, suck and consume the flesh. A family man from Falls Church, Virginia, has a Christmas which no one can forget. To his horror, he discovers that something is eating his heart out, literally. Is this his last holiday with his wife and three kids? In Tucson, Arizona, a desert photographer is excited for the holidays, but she can’t quite catch her breath. Once the picture of health, she now finds herself knocking on death’s door. And on Christmas Eve, surgeons battle the strange invader that is asphyxiating her.
A Very Merry Gypsy Christmas — Dec. 19 at 10pm on TLC. Christmas offers UK Travellers the ideal excuse for birthday extravaganzas and winter wonderland-themed wedding parties. In true traveller fashion, these parties are equipped with cakes as big as cars and extravagant dresses to match. However, one family of travellers gets more than they bargained for when a surprise wedding turns their family holiday in the sun into an unexpected honeymoon.
The Carrie Diaries: “The Second Time Around” — Dec. 20 at 8pm on The CW. Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) is delighted when she gets the chance to interview the CEO of Bongo Jeans – but the pressure is on when Larissa (Freema Agyeman) tells Carrie that this is her last chance to land a piece in Interview magazine. Mouse (Ellen Wong) gets some news that drives an unexpected wedge between her and West (guest star RJ Brown), and Sebastian’s (Austin Butler) father (guest star Terry Serpico) delivers other news that could forever change Sebastian and Carrie’s relationship. Elsewhere, Walt (Brendan Dooling) finds a surprising father figure in Tom (Matt Letscher), and Maggie (Katie Findlay) tries to muster the courage to tell her dad the truth about the last few months.
Tanked: “Holiday Special” — Dec. 20 at 9pm on Animal Planet. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at ATM when Wayde and Brett are challenged to build two tanks filled with holiday cheer. At Highwoods Properties in Atlanta, the guys are tasked at creating one of the largest cylinder tanks in ATM history. All is jolly at the build site until there’s a surprise request for additional holiday tank themes. Later, Wayde and Brett meet with the mayor of Henderson, Nevada, who enlists their help to build a snow-globe tank for the annual Winterfest celebration. Back at the shop, Heather and Agnes do some decorating of their own in preparation for the ATM holiday party.
The Aquabats! Super Show!: “Christmas With the Aquabats” — Dec. 21 at 1pm on The Hub Network. Ricky’s perfect Christmas is threatened when The Aquabats! arrive in a strange village and are convicted of breaking a law that forbids any Yuletide celebration.
Two and a Half Men: “Give Santa a Tail-Hole” — Dec. 21 at 8pm on CBS. Walden juggles having two identities – rich man and poor man – and Alan finds himself alone at Christmas.
Too Cute!: “Puppy and Kitten Holiday Special” — Dec. 21 at 9pm on Animal Planet. This holiday season, follow three litters of puppies and kittens as they celebrate their very first Christmas. Snowshoe kittens discover the joys of ribbon and wrapping paper and learn to climb the Christmas tree. Then, nine adorable Weimaraner pups ring in the holiday with brand-new jingle-bell collars. And, a Brussels griffon pup proves to be the cutest Scrooge around.
Bob’s Burgers: “God Rest Ye Merry Gentle-Mannequins” – Dec. 22 at 7pm on FOX. Bob inherits a storage unit, and the whole family imagines treasures, but only finds a man named Chet (guest voice Zach Galifianakis) living inside. Imbued with the holiday spirit, Linda persuades Bob to invite Chet to stay at the restaurant, where it’s discovered that the stranger, who claims he was once a mannequin, has a gift for intricate and living window displays.
Family Guy: “Jesus, Mary & Joseph” – Dec. 22 at 9pm on FOX. Peter (voice of Seth MacFarlane) tells his own version of the Nativity story.
Treehouse Masters: “Santa’s Workshop” — Dec. 23 at 10pm on Animal Planet. A family who celebrates Christmas 365 days a year tasks Pete with creating a Christmas-treehouse wonderland in the desert outside of Jamul, California. Real-life Santa and Mrs. Claus dream of an Alpinestyle treehouse in a backyard pepper tree complete with many accessories: Santa’s red chair, a sleigh-shaped balcony, a naughty-or-nice drawbridge, a secret elf trap door and a candy-cane-and-holly access bridge. Faced with just a week to complete the build, Pete and his crew receive helping hands from the “Fraternal Order of Real Bearded Santas.”
NCIS: “You Better Watch Out” — Dec. 24 at 8pm on CBS. It’s Christmas time and Tony DiNozzo can’t decide if he’ll be naughty or nice when his dad, Anthony DiNozzo, Sr. (guest star Robert Wagner), comes to town for a visit. Meanwhile, the NCIS team is “following the money” in order to solve a murder investigation, and Abby is bursting with excitement over all the holiday festivities.
A “FOX & Friends” Christmas — Dec. 24 at 8pm on FOX News Channel. Hosted by FOX & Friends co-hosts Steve Doocy, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Brian Kilmeade as well as FOX & Friends Weekend co-hosts Tucker Carlson, Anna Kooiman and Clayton Morris, this two-hour program will feature several musical acts, interviews with notable guests and messages from several FNC personalities. The special will include performances from singer-songwriter Leona Lewis, country music artist Craig Morgan, comedian Jeff Dunham, actor and jazz musician Robert Davi, singer and Navy Petty Officer 1st Class (Ret.) Generald Wilson, the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and Carol Cymbal and The X-Factor finalist Carlos Guevara. Additionally, the co-hosts will reflect on the Christmas season with Gov. Sarah Palin, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, and many other notable guests. New Girl: “Santa” – Dec. 24 at 9pm on FOX. When the gang attempts to juggle multiple holiday parties in one night, Jess (Zooey Deschanel) tries to avoid a remorseful Sam (guest star David Walton), Nick (Jake Johnson) tries to keep up with a sexually adventurous Angie (guest star Olivia Munn), and Winston (Lamorne Morris) panics when he gets a cranberry stuck in his ear.
The Mindy Project: “Josh & Mindy’s Christmas Party” – Dec. 24 at 9:30pm on FOX. Mindy (Mindy Kaling) throws an office Christmas party at her apartment, and she’s eager for her colleagues to finally meet her boyfriend, Josh (guest star Tommy Dewey). Meanwhile, Jeremy (Ed Weeks) deals with doling out the holiday bonuses, much to everyone’s chagrin.
Raising Hope: “Last Christmas” – Dec. 25 at 9pm on FOX. Virginia (Martha Plimpton) is convinced that the world is going to end on Dec. 21, 2012, so she uses her extreme couponing skills to stock up on supplies and forces the family to train for the apocalypse. Meanwhile, Jimmy (Lucas Neff) is determined to give Hope the best Christmas he can, since it likely will be the first one she remembers, and Maw Maw (Cloris Leachman) tries to knock a few more items off her bucket list before the world ends.
Glee: “Glee, Actually” – Dec. 26 at 9pm on FOX. In a tribute to the film Love, Actually, seemingly separate storylines come together as one holiday-themed episode, in which Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Brittany (Heather Morris) live their lives to the fullest before the much-heralded Mayan Apocalypse occurs.
