It bills itself as a “social show” that incorporates videos, photos, and blogs on a social network where you can talk to the characters and participate in the story. CBS’s new comedy The Neighborhood (beginning Monday, Oct. 1 at 8/7c) is a lighthearted comedy that pokes fun at race relations. At the CBS executive session this morning at the Television Critics Association (TCA) 2013 Summer Press Tour, CBS president and CEO Les Moonves — making his first appearance at TCA in many years as a fill-in for CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler, who had to return home for a personal situation — announced that CBS has renewed its hit Under the Dome, with the 13-episode Season 2 airing next summer.
