  1. I now have a very cranky husband who is missing the Speed channel. I can’t believe you are messing with our happy home!

  2. What’s going on at Speed. Lately all there is on is re-runs of the Atlanta supercross event and other re-runs of Hard Parts, etc. And, this week, one of its cornerstone shows–Race Hub–disappeared. If you are attempting to get rid of all your fans, why not just cancel the whole channel?

  3. NASCAR advertised the Infinity Race in Atlanta on the Fox Sports 1 channel. Instead of the race they had a Dart Contest. Why was the Infinity Race not shown. Who wants to sit and watch a boring Dart Contest.

  4. PLEASE GET THE SPEED CL back I mise all the NASCAR info and seeing the test drives and > the driver info FOX Sports stink I will not watch it I like NASCAR not bace ball.not foot ball ETC

  5. I said fox 1 sports suck. I want to see anything to do with cars not football. Fox 1 sports sucks

  6. fs1 doesn’t hold a candle to speed channel you can’t have football on racing channel I paid extra for velocity channel it doesn’t have half the programs that speed had VERY DISAPPOINTED when my contract is up with directv I am going

  7. Too bad the Speed Channel became the NASCAR Channel showing less and less European and other world motorsports and increasingly more Nascar, which is as sophisticated as 18-year-olds racing away from taverns at closing. I became a rabid Formula One fan because the Speed channel televised it religiously with one of the best announcing team in all of sports. Bob Varsha, extremely knowledgeable intelligent and smooth br0adcaster anchored the very humorous and believable ex-F1 driver David Hobbs and, in later years the extremely experienced ex-engineer/mechanic Steve Matchett from championship winning Benetton F1 team for technical expertise. Supplementing this team was the intelligent and witty Sam Posey. Along with them was Peter Windsor, a former team principal with Williams in the paddock doing interviews with F1 people who knew and respected him. This was the announcing team from heaven. But as Speed was becoming more and more Nascar oriented it was inevitable that F1 would be dropped from the schedule. It was only a matter of time. A great show, it finally was dropped by Speed. I was amazed when NBCSN picked up the ball but it was tempered by the fear of NBC crowding out F1 by trying to broadcast every sport in the US. Those fears are slowly but increasingly becoming the case. Also they replaced Bob Varsha with Leigh Diffey, competent but not a match for Varsha, and Peter Windsor left to create an American F1 team which never seemed to get off of the ground. Too bad.
It was one of the best crews in all of sports, but as what’s-his-name’s (who also owns Fox)lost interest in anything but Nascar, F1 landed on the trash heap. I think that NBCSN is slowly following the same protocol. Shame really. This country needs to forego it’s arrogance and begin taking an interest in the rest of the world. It can start with entertainment like F1 and continue with things of much more importance We continue to keep our heads in the sand at our own peril. Sports are a great icebreaker and let us experience others cultures in a nonthreatening way. Getting back to F1, Nico Rosberg will never become a championship class driver. He does not have that “killer instinct” which is necessary to win the big ones. What do you think?

  8. You sure have screwed up again. What happened to Barrett Jackson collector car? Why do you not televise NHRA drag racing ? I am on Shaw Direct satellite in Canada ,we have a a poor excusue for a sport channel cared TSN . All the provide is fag ball, baseball , soccer and the Nascar is a chopped up version of a race program with costent breaks for stick and ball sports . Therefore you lose parts of the with breaks and Canadian commercials. I have Fox sports channel but no drag racing . This world is going in circles.
