Belmont Stakes 2013 date, time and TV channel

Belmont Stakes 2013 date, time and TV channel: NBC Sports has over six hours of coverage of the Belmont Stakes June 7-8 from Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.

Kentucky Derby Orb won’t be racing for an elusive Triple Crown at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y., for the 145th Belmont Stakes, but Saturday’s race is shaping up to be a good showdown between Orb (3-1) and Preakness Stakes winner Oxbow (5-1). Other horses in starting gate include Revolutionary (9-2), Overanalyze (12-1), Palace Malice (15-1), Midnight Taboo (30-1), Frac Daddy (30-1), Freedom Child (8-1), Giant Finish (30-1), Golden Soul (10-1), Incognito (20-1), Vyjack (20-1), Will Take Charge (20-1) and filly Unlimited Budget (8-1). I’ll Have Another won last year’s Kentucky Derby and Preakness, but his Triple Crown chances were scratched when tendonitis forced him out of the Belmont, won by Union Rags. NBC and NBC Sports Network combine to televise the race, as well as several programs surrounding the event.
