The Secret Life of the American Teenager airs 8pm Mondays on ABC Family.
In “Shiny and New,” tonight’s episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Ricky (Daren Kagasoff) isn’t too pleased with Amy’s (Shailene Woodley) decision to tour a college in upstate New York. Boy, this not really being married thing is tough. Elsewhere, Leo (Steve Schirripa) grills Ricky about his friendship with Clementine (Marielle Jaffe), and Jack’s (Greg Finley) desperation to protect himself could lead to some devastating fallout. Amy’s trip also causes tension for Adrian (Francia Raisa), who isn’t happy that Omar (DeVaughn Nixon) is going on a business trip without her, and on the same flight as Amy. George (Mark Derwin) forges a new career path, and pride keeps Ethan (Michael Grant) from accepting Kathy’s (Cierra Ramirez) generous offer to tutor him in math.
Wow, I’m out of breath just typing all that. Still a lot to get sorted out before the show’s June 3 series finale.
