Carrier Classic 2012 on NBC Sports Network

Carrier Classic 2012 includes the women’s Ohio State vs. Notre Dame game, followed by the men’s game between Ohio State and Marquette on NBC Sports Network.

The inaugural Carrier Classic a year ago was a hit, and now holding games on the decks of aircraft carriers is all the rage in college hoops. (They should try a game inside a submarine next.) This year’s event on Friday, Nov. 9, on the USS Yorktown docked in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., expands to include a women’s game. The ladies take the floor with Ohio State vs. Notre Dame at 4pm ET, followed by the men’s game between Ohio State and Marquette at 7pm ET. The Navy-Marine Corps Classic between Georgetown and Florida from the deck of the USS Bataan in Jacksonville, Fla., airs at 9pm ET. NBC Sports Network has coverage of all three games.

The 2016 NIT Tournament TV schedule on ESPN networks begins March 15-16 across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and WatchESPN.
