Burn Notice wins Best Spy/Espionage Show in Channel Guide’s 2012 Viewer’s Voice Awards

Burn NoticeHomeland might have walked away with all of the hardware at this year’s Emmy Awards, but Burn Notice edged out fellow USA Network drama White Collar to take home the prestigious Viewer’s Voice Award for Best Spy/Espionage Show.

And truth be told, how can you go wrong with a show shot in Miami that features beautiful scenery and people? The star of this action-packed drama is the vastly-underrated Jeffrey Donovan, who plays burned U.S. spy Michael Westen.

While trying to figure out who burned him, Westen teams up with his girlfriend (Gabrielle Anwar), his best friend (Bruce Campbell) and a fellow former spy (Colby Bell) to to chase down bad guys in Miami. Doesn’t get more exciting than this.

Best Spy/Espionage Show — Winner: Burn Notice

Burn Notice/USA Network 38%
White Collar/USA Network 32%
Homeland/Showtime 17%
Covert Affairs/USA Network 14%
Strike Back/Cinemax 2%

Percentages may not total 100 due to rounding.
