“We’re calling this our Crystal Anniversary Tour,” says series executive producer Marsha Bemko. “It’s our way of celebrating Roadshow‘s 15-year romance with America’s stories, its objects and its extraordinary history.”

This 2010 tour will feature a series of local events at which top appraisers offer the public free evaluations of antiques and collectibles, revealing the often-surprising history and value of the items.

Stops will include:

San Diego, California — June 12

Billings, Montana — June 26

Miami Beach, Florida — July 10

Biloxi, Mississippi — July 24

Des Moines, Iowa — August 7

Washington, D.C. — August 21

Admission to Antiques Roadshow events is free, but tickets are required and must be obtained in advance. Ticket applications and complete ticketing rules will be available on Antiques Roadshow Online or by dialing toll-free 1-888-762-3749. A limited number of ticket recipients will be selected at random from all eligible entries. Ticket holders are invited to bring two items for a free verbal evaluation by experts from the world’s leading auction houses — Skinner; Christie’s, Bonhams & Butterfields; Rago Auctions; Swann Galleries; Doyle New York; Freeman’s; and Sotheby’s — and by leading independent appraisers, auctioneers, and dealers. All ticket holders are guaranteed an appraisal.

In addition,  The Roadshow Furniture Roundup is looking for large pieces of furniture within 50 miles of each tour location. Complete furniture submission rules are available online or by dialing the above toll-free information line.
