Super Bowl XLIII On NBC

Now that we’ve covered NFL Network and ESPN’s Super Bowl XLIII media blitz, we’ll look at the network that’s actually airing the Super Bowl on Feb. 1. Here’s NBC’s Super Sunday broadcast day, which is going to include every football analyst you’ve ever wanted to hear from … and Matt Millen:

NBC Super Bowl XLIII Sunday Broadcast Schedule

(All Times Eastern)

The Today Show (9-11am): A live, two-hour edition of Today with Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Ann Curry and Al Roker. Meredith, Al and Ann will give viewers a rare behind-the-scenes look the sights, sounds, parties and food of the big game as well as the preparations that go into Super Sunday. They will also explore the city of Tampa, and experience the local Super Bowl fever. And, NBC’s Tiki Barber will get a VIP tour of the stadium from his twin brother and Tampa Bay Buccaneer Ronde Barber.

Meet the Press (11am-12pm)

NBC Sports Pregame (12-6pm) NBC Sports Super Bowl coverage begins with Road to the Super Bowl, a comprehensive look back a the 2008 NFL season featuring the best of NFL Films cinematography and exclusive audio from players and coaches. NBC’s Super Bowl XLIII pregame show will provide an in-depth look at Super Bowl XLIII with analysis, features and interviews. Plus, Matt Lauer will have an exclusive interview with President Barack Obama, airing during NBC’s Super Bowl pregame show.

Super Bowl XLIII (6pm-conclusion)

Faith Hill to sing “America the Beautiful” as part of Super Bowl XLIII pregame festivities.

Jennifer Hudson to sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLIII.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band perform at Bridgestone Super Bowl XLIII Halftime show

Pittsburgh Steelers to beat Arizona Cardinals 52-3.*

The Office (10-11pm) Full hourlong episode of The Office, to be brilliantly recapped by Mike, Ryan and johnnysweeptheleg.*

    BTW, you forgot to add the portion where Bruce Springsteen tells an extremely long story before going into his second song of the night.
