Whale Wars: Season 2 Is A Go

By ElaineB

As should have been expected given how many people tuned in late last year to watch the Sea Shepherd volunteers on the ship Steve Irwin disabling the Japanese whaling ships with stink- and slip-bombs, the series will be back for a second season.

According to Yahoo News story last month, the Steve Irwin is not the only vessel in the Antarctic for the purpose of stopping the hunt. With far less drama, but possibly far more clout, an Australian customs vessel also shadowed the whalers last season. It was making videos and documenting their activities for a possible international court challenge with the aim of ending the annual hunt.
