8 Questions With Elizabeth Berkley

What has been your strangest fan experience?

Elizabeth Berkley: At the stage door of a Broadway show I was doing, a young fan came up to me and launched into a full scene from Showgirls right there on the street. Choreography and everything. What was even crazier than that is that he was actually amazing! He nailed it. It was rather shocking, but he nailed it!

You're at a magazine rack and can pick up three magazines -- what are they?

Definitely Time. I love InStyle -- it's so much fun. And probably Vogue.

If your television only carried three shows, which three would you want?

In Treatment on HBO, I Love Lucy and The Sopranos.

When's the last time you were starstruck?

It's been a little while, but I would say the first time I met Al Pacino before we started working [on Any Given Sunday]. Once we started working, it went away because he is so incredible and I felt so comfortable. But even thinking about working with him ...

When's the last time you felt like crying?

My girlfriend is doing service work in Africa right now and she e-mailed me a description of her day. I was so moved and inspired.

What's your favorite sports team?

The Yankees.

What's your favorite condiment?

My own agave nectar concoction. [No, not tequila.]

Since you're a proud Michigan native and a lifelong dancer, how about a Midwestern dance question: The Chicken Dance and the Electric Slide -- real dances or just a way to get everybody on the dance floor at your wedding reception?

I'd have to say it is a fun excuse to get everyone on the dance floor. But getting your body moving any which way can be considered dancing!
